Lakers Tug of War Association talk about Rebecca McCauley & Tug of War Team- Irish Sportswomen

We are so proud, that on the run up to International Women’s Day, a photo of Rebecca McCauley and our Lakers team mentioned on the Irish Tug of War website & social media. The story goes that, The Irish Tug Of War Association, introduced Lakers to Tug of War back in February 2016 with an exhibition and sampling day in the centre. The enthusiasm on the day led to Tug of War training becoming a weekly thing. The Irish tug of war has developed a great class which, builds confidence and self-esteem amongst the members.The class continues to grow from strength to strength and they have also been introduced to open pulls at local competitions and at the ITOWA Nationals. #WomeninSportIRE #internationalwomensday #lakersmsneeds #champions
