We are hiring Part-Time Receptionist Located in our center in Bray, Wicklow, Ireland.

Lakers is a unique and vibrant organisation based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, dedicated to enriching the lives of
individuals with intellectual disabilities. We provide our 300 members with the opportunity to participate in
over 60 sporting and social activities in a supportive and inclusive environment. These activities play a key
role in enhancing their self-esteem, social skills, health, and fitness, empowering them to engage actively in
their communities.
In addition to a dedicated team of staff, Lakers is supported by a network of 140 volunteers who are vital to
delivering our programs. Volunteers assist in running classes, support coaches and tutors, and help with the
daily operations of the organisation.
As we expand, we are seeking to recruit a friendly, organised, and proactive Receptionist to join our team
and help us to continue providing outstanding services to our members.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our members, volunteers, and visitors, you will be responsible for managing
the front desk and supporting the administrative functions that keep our activities running smoothly. You
will be part of a team and will communicate effectively with the volunteers who fill the Receptionist role on
Mondays and Thursdays.
Hours: 15 hrs per week over 2 days based in Lakers, The St. Andrews Centre, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
Thursday: 9.30am-5.30pm
Friday: 9.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet and welcome members, visitors, and guests, providing a warm and
professional first impression.
• Financial Administration: Handle cash payments, issue receipts for daily activities, and maintain
accurate daily income records.
• Activity Support: Manage and maintain the daily activity systems, offering information about our
programs and services to all visitors and members.
• CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate records.
• Phone and Email Support: Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls; check and respond to daily
emails or distribute to the relevant team members.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform a range of clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and
transcribing, as required.
• Stock and Inventory: Monitor office supplies and stationery levels, placing orders as needed.
• Safety and Security: Ensure the reception area is secure by following safety procedures and
managing access to the building.
• Mail and Deliveries: Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
• Event Support: Help organise and attend activities and events outside of regular office hours when
required.Skills and Qualifications:
• Customer Service: A positive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to resolve issues proactively
and professionally.
• Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise
effectively in a busy environment.
• Experience: Experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role beneficial.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce
experience is a plus).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly, and
approachable manner.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks, particularly in financial and administrative
work.
• Adaptability: Flexible and willing to take on new challenges as the needs of the organisation evolve.
