What a fantastic community event the Lakers 10K 2026 was! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was wonderful to welcome back so many familiar faces, meet new people, and see the community come together for one very important cause — Lakers.

An event like this simply would not happen without the incredible people behind it.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, Avondale Forest Park team and Lakers staff for all the hard work, energy and support behind the scenes and on the day.

Thank you to Billy Porter and Tim Grummell for helping make the event so special, and to our fantastic sponsors K3 Construction Ltd, Never A Day’s Trouble, The Sports Room Wicklow and Amphibian King for supporting us.

Every step, every donation and every bit of support is helping Lakers continue to enrich and empower the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.

This was more than a 10K. It was a community coming together for Lakers.
