High Flying Lakers!

The adults in our summer outing this week got to experience the new Treetop walk in Avondale House and Forrest Park. Just look at these incredible pictures and you can see just how impressive it is! The fully accessible walk brings you through the treetops surrounded by stunning views, sensory areas, and beautiful forest aromas, and finishes at the tower structure where you can walk up the slow incline to the viewing platform, a whopping 38 metres above the forest floor!

How amazing is that! And if that’s not enough excitement for you there is a spiral slide that winds its way down from the top of the viewing platform to the ground – not for the faint of heart I’d say!  But our brave members took it all in their stride and made a day of it – heatwave and all!

Some daredevils even took the slide – yikes!!!
