On Thursday the 5th of December our Book Club we had a very special visitor. They had just started reading a book called “Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo” by local author Alan Nolan. He very kindly offered to pop in class to say hi after the instructor Niamh let him know via social media that the book club were enjoying his novel. He is also an illustrator and showed us how to draw some of the characters from his books including the Irish Yeti and Myrtle the Parrot!! Thank you so much @alannolan_author for sharing your enthusiasm for your writings with the class. It was a very special morning for everyone involved.
