Over 60% of Laker’s funding comes from the generosity of the public. You can support our club by attending an event, organising a personal event, or getting involved with any of our initiatives, such as our flagship annual events like our Roundwood Run. Your vital support will help change lives. Thank you.

Lakers relies on three main sources of funding: membership fees, grants and fundraising.

Each year we need to raise more than €200,000 to run the Club. For many of our members our classes are the only opportunities they are able to participate in due to their particular needs.

We are so grateful for the support we receive, not only by parents, friends and family members, as well as our own volunteers, but also by so many community groups and organisations. This has enabled us to continue to offer our unique specialised club.

There are plenty of ways you can support us – by making a donation, playing our Lakers Lotto, sponsoring us or by buying some of our members’ wonderful creations from our shop.
