What makes Lakers different?
Small charity, big dreams.
Starting out in 1989, Lakers was created by a small group of parents, looking for support and extra curricular activities for their children with special needs. Thanks to the tenacity, hard work and grit of these parents Lakers has gone from strength to strength. From 4 activities per week and a hand-full of members, we now support just under 400 people aged 5 to 70.
You can feel the magic.
The real success of Lakers, is that we get to be a part of our members journey. We witness massive triumphs on a daily basis and can share our stories of success with you. Whether its a child scoring their first goal, or painting their first picture, or an adult winning their first medal or speaking to another person for the first time, there are so many miracles that your company can be a part of.
Our members inspire us.
Our members enthusiasm, determination, love and passion for their club inspires us on a daily basis. It helps us to strive to be the best we can be. This passion, determination, creativity and kindness will be at your disposal throughout our partnership, and our members will in turn inspire you and your staff to feel the same.
