Spelling To Communicate Intro Talk

Monday, 6th October 2025, 7:30–9pm, Lakers Hall.

Join us for an insightful Spelling to Communicate info session, presented by amazing spellers Max Whelan, Fallon Loftus, and S2C Practitioner, Anna Lechleiter from Palz.

S2C is a powerful communication method designed to help nonspeaking individuals express themselves through spelling on letterboards or keyboards.

This session will provide an in-depth introduction to how S2C fosters independence, self-expression, and connection for individuals who were once thought to be unable to communicate. Max and Fallon will share via spelling on letterboards what they want to say to future Spellers and to everyone. Anna will share a bit about the method, the intro to the science behind it and about the many people now communicating who were locked in before S2C.

Whether you are a parent, support staff, educator, or therapist interested in learning more about S2C, this session will help you understand how S2C can open up new possibilities for communication and growth for nonspeaking, minimally speaking and unreliably speaking individuals.
