Lakers Social and Recreational Club for people with an intellectual disability have been hoping to open a café at the club house for many years.

To reduce the cost of starting up this enterprise, we have decided to start with a mobile café which can be used at the club-house or  at events in the community.

Almost a year after the fire at our club-house, we are now raising funds for a mobile café which will be staffed by our adult members supported by staff and volunteers from the club.
