🎶 It’s the circle of . . . Friendship!

Just like sensory play, friendship circle is a new addition to the our Lakers schedule this year! Lisa leads the class and it’s all about (you guessed it) socializing with buddies – old and new. How nice is that! It’s a great opportunity for the members to have a proper chat!  And also get to know one another in a more chilled out environment. The class activity varies from week to week. Sometimes they all head out for a walk (which has been fabulous with this lovely summer weather we have been having!). Other weeks it’s colouring while listening to music, but the main focus is having the hour to socialize with one another. Take That and ABBA are the two fan favourites among the group!

The class has been a great success, with loads of lovely pictures being drawn each week, wonderful conversations being had and relaxing strolls along the beach when the weather permits! This week was a special week at friendship circle, it was one of our members Mandy’s birthday! So as an extra treat, Lisa brought the members down the beach for a coffee to celebrate Mandy’s special day! Happy Birthday from everyone at Lakers Mandy, we hope you had a lovely day!
