Drop In, Play Games, Chill Out at Adult Drop-In

Our Adult Drop-in service started back in September and it’s so popular everyone wants a place !

Drop-in is a vital resource for our members and gives them the opportunity to engage and socialise in a fun environment independent of the instruction of formal classes and activities. It is more than anything a safe place for our members to meet new people, and hang out with their friends. There is a pool table, foosball, board games, a chill out corner with bean bags, plenty of music and even a dinner! As we all know, your day is made better when you see your friends and get to talk to them about your week’s ups and downs. This is more important than ever, especially with rising cases of mental health issues amongst young adults and men.  At Drop-In Dinner everyone looks forward to coming together at the table for a delicious meal (created by our talented Cookery Instructor Niamh), and there is such a sense of community when this happens.  During the 2 hours of Drop-In you don’t just get to see how much fun everyone has, or get to know everyone a little better, but you get to see how our members really care and support one another.

Drop in takes place every Wednesday Afternoon, from 3.30 to 5.30 in Lakers main hall.
