Cooking up the next generation of Lakers!

Our teens cookery class has been a huge hit this past year. From testing it out last summer to adding it to the

September timetable, teens cookery has taken off. The class is run by our fabulous development coordinator Hannah. She has taken the lads on a culinary journey over the last few months. Encouraging the class to try new things – like guacamole, introducing new ingredients – last week they tried lentils, and teaching food safety along with safe utensil handling. The class is currently full of boys, how fun is that! We love to see these lads learn how to read their recipes, measure their ingredients and follow along to make something new and tasty. With a full waiting list, this cookery class is proving to be quite a popular new addition to our timetable.
