A Day of Impact and Connection with Bain Capital

We were delighted to welcome a fantastic team from Bain Capital who joined us for a full day of hands-on support, collaboration, and connection — all rounded off with a well-earned BBQ in the sunshine.

The day was all about rolling up sleeves and making a tangible difference. The Bain Capital volunteers threw themselves into the work with real enthusiasm, bringing energy, expertise, and a great sense of teamwork. Whether it was tackling practical projects or lending support where it was most needed, their contribution made a genuine impact — and was deeply appreciated by everyone on our team.

A special highlight of the day was when the team got to meet Luka and Hannah, two incredible young leaders who have been using Bain Capital’s funding to launch and run Saturday afternoon classes as part of our junior programme. Their initiative and dedication are a shining example of the opportunities this support makes possible.

To mark the occasion and express our thanks, Luka presented the Bain Capital team with a framed artwork created by the young participants in the programme — a heartfelt and tangible reminder of the impact their funding is having in our community.

After a productive day, we gathered for a relaxed BBQ, taking the time to unwind, share stories, and enjoy some delicious food together. It was a perfect way to celebrate a job well done and reflect on the power of collaboration and community spirit.
