Mandy Tries Taekwondo
Adults Social Club ✨
This month Lakers started our new Social Club aimed at our over 18’s members. This club will happen one Friday each Month. For it’s first event our members enjoyed a piazza night in the hall with music, games and of course their friends!
It went down a treat! 🍕

Lakers had a great October! With prepping for Halloween and a fun filled disco - we had a busy month!
Sound Baths with Mel!
Mel from Integrated healing with Mel was kind enough to offer Lakers the chance to try out a soundbath session. She put on a session for Staff and parent/guardians one evening in March and then in April she put on a session for members to try.
She created a lovely relaxing environment, giving us all uplifting and calming experiences in Lakers hall. She used the restorative powers of sound to help relax and encourage calm healing over everyone who took part. Her skills were truly appreciated on both evenings! Thankyou Mel!

Bowling Comp
On the 13th of April our bowling players took part in The Special Olympics Bowling League.
They played a blinder and one of Lakers Teams even walked away with Gold!

Juniors Easter Camp 🐣
During the school Easter break our junior members joined us and celebrated Easter . We had one week with two Teen groups and the next week two under 12’s groups – and what fun weeks they were! From creative arts and crafts, to karaoke, bingo, and a bit of dancing to end on a high note!
A special shoutout to Luka and Hannah who fully embraced the Easter spirit in their bunny ears! 
Big thanks to our wonderful volunteers for helping make the Easter holidays feel a little shorter and a lot more fun.

Killruddery Easter Treasure Trail 🐰
We had an EGG-stra special time as charity partners for this year’s Killruddery Easter Trail over Easter weekend!With bonnets bobbing and Easter outfits on full display, families hopped their way through the beautiful Gardens this Easter Sunday and Monday

to obstacle-hopping and old-school games, it was a day full of laughter, adventure, and memories to treasure
